Discovering my love for experimenting with whole foods in college, I also stumbled upon holistic health articles and podcasts. My curiosity in learning about this new world of natural ways to heal grew the more I was exposed to health food blogs, and especially after seeing my mom healed from her rheumatoid arthritis only through changing her diet. I slowly learned to pay more attention to my own doctor - my body - and realized that eating whole foods makes the most difference in whether I have energy during the day or am able to sleep well, not so much the 30 supplements a day that I used to take.
